He joined Parra so he wouldn't have to drive as far to training. I highly doubt he wants to live in the UK.
Good point, thats quite a driveHe joined Parra so he wouldn't have to drive as far to training. I highly doubt he wants to live in the UK.
Things change though .... at one point in life a player might not consider the UK ... months, years later its an option

FFS ... the moment you go to the next page and see hiney has posted the joke already
Money talks. He will be going where the money is. MJ has a finite career and isn’t the sharpest tool in the shed.He joined Parra so he wouldn't have to drive as far to training. I highly doubt he wants to live in the UK.

I couldn’t agree with your more. I’m hoping he takes up his option and leaves. No Avenger he signed cause he wanted to be close ffs....
His form was down his last season at roosters. Just like it was in 2016.
MJ was back to best in 2017 but in 2018 he looks closer to his form of 2015/2016.
High chances are 2019 will be closer to that. 2/3 of previous season have been below par. Lets not take big risks on HOPING guys like MJ will defy odds and recapture form.
If we have chance to get rid of him then do it. All players have risk but guys 30+ and out of form unless cheap are not risks id take.

He joined Parra cause we offered over 600k for 4 yrs.
Wigan says MJ we will give you a 3/4 yr deal from 2019 on at 600k a season.
Collects 1.8 to 2.4 million.
Or he stays in NRL and get his 600k odd from the eels. And gets offered I reckon 2yr max deal at half that.so collects 1.2 mill.
Depends how much cash he wants.
If the whole team’s form is down why would you think they’ll never recover it? Jennings is 30, not 35. And even Wigan aren’t going to throw a long contract for big money at an outside back in his 30s. He’ll get another 2-3 years in the NRL, easily. I doubt he would get much more in the UK. There are four western Sydney teams to choose from.No Avenger he signed cause he wanted to be close ffs....

Which means we don't necessarily re-sign Jennings even if he is playing well next year. At the moment he is one of our best players, and definitely our best centre. Next year he will still be our best centre, and also turns 31. Letting him go a year too early would mean watching him sign with Penrith (for example) and seeing him play well in 2020. Keeping him a year too long would mean re-signing him and have him spend most of 2020 out injured.Theres an old saying in RL that says you are better off letting a player go one year early than one year late.
