If Boyd got $600k and Glabsy $500k or so, I reckon there is a fair chance Woods would get at least $600k by someone. He is better then both those players.

Gus is just jealous Tamou and Merrin are on $750k and he can’t shop them around for everywhere near that amount

Again I highly doubt either are on that . If sre they are doing a great job being able to keep all there gun juniors and sign Maloney. I reckon Duke has plenty of tpas and connections.

In saying thst Merrin is worth 600k. Id prefer him to Woods.
Id put Tamou on par with Woods. Tamou more dangerous running game if anything.

I think people are overstating the amount the dogs will pay. I know they're rumoured to be paying a lot for Graham but it's not like they need to get rid of them this week so they can start earning points. Mbye going will free a good chunk.

Mbye would be a huge mistake. He is young and most dangerous attacking weapon.

Foran,Tolman,Woods,Lichaa.....

All would get offers elsewhere. Foran maybe hardest to offload but maybe UK is option if his body keep deteriorating.

In context to this story yes....It was a feel good story for eels. When winning media loves to get behind to underdogs.
I still find it hard to beleive Brown was on 170k. He was a top17 bench player and going well and young, Heaps where excited about his potential. I reckon Fuimano would of cost souths close to 150k. I personally doubt Brown was less then 220k considering age and potential.

I don't know exactly what Brown was on, but the offer from Souths was very low.

They saw him as a back-up player who wouldn't have the discipline to be a genuine top 17 option....lol. Can you imagine the outrage if that was Parra?

Well Souths have turned it around to my suprise. A genuine chance for title.
Know one cares if we let guys go when going well. It is the fact we have 1 good season every 5 yrs. Id settle for one good and one bad. 4 or 5 yrs in finals in a row seems a pipe dream

My guess is somewhere inbetween.I also doubt Sandow or Hoppa where on 750k a year.

If Merrin and Tamou where on 1.5 between them I doubt theyd afford so many other guys. They would be cash strapped. My guess would be 600k and perhaps a tpa of 100-150k

I'd reckon The Pennys have a heap of good younguns that will be chased pretty hard and obviously want more money. I guess it proves they are doing it right. Depending on your level of risk with signing potential, a premeriship window is a small commodity now days.

In other news did anyone see the Semi news playing for the Barbarians on the weekend? His first crack for them and tore England to pieces playing centre. He scored an awesome try and set up 3 others. England didn't know how to handle him and he tore them up. Subsequently the Northern Hemisphere are now in love with him also.
Good luck to him, such a talent and its great to see him destroying teams still.

He tore up the NRL, of course he is going to tear up some Yawnion Pommy Plodders.
