Fair points Baz and we all don’t really what is going on behind the scenes. But just thought it strange people were talking about cultural shifts and we sign two blokes with chequered pasts with questionable attitudes.

To be fair Junior has seemingly been a model citizen in Canberrra, which must have been difficult when he plays alongside blokes like Wighton Leilua, Rapana, Cotric, Whitehead and others

Has anyone posted today's Telegraph story about Ferguson, "Why Ferguson picked Eels over cashed up rivals"? It is behind a firewall.
To stay in Sydney to be near his kids as he is estranged from his wife. Been reported we offered 3 year deal for $1.5m while Knights offered 4 years and more per year.

If we are getting rid of Norman for “cultural issues” (I did the Dr Evil thing when I typed it out)

Signing Junior Ferguson makes little sense especially if wr have to pay out some of Norman’s contract to offload him.
Are Paulo and Ferguson negative influences?

he had a very good season about 2 or 3 years ago playing in the halves but really hasn't be able to reproduce that form

maybe BA thinks he can do it again
With Hodgson leading the team around from dummy half Austin is not a bad player. His strength is his running game but an organiser he is not. As a dummy half he might go ok but unsure about his ability to tackle all match. Not sure pairing him with Moses will work out, what is his short game like?

Norman bar 2016 has been another who offered crap value. No consistency to his game. Up and down every few weeks.

Had 5yrs here now. One very good year. Rest have been just average.
Maybe an above average pack will get the improvement and consistency out of him we need.

I am very critical of the club, just not the poor bastards who have to work there. I couldn't do a better job and neither could most other people considering how 'successful' we are despite constant management and coaching changes.
Our club should be the most successful out of all the western clubs. Our CBD is probably the second biggest out of all the clubs, certainly much bigger than Penrith. Yet its been reported Penrith has the third biggest TPAs out of the Sydney clubs. How did that happen? Is it Gus or some other influence? Also their leagues club seems much bigger than Parra. I know they bought other clubs outside of Sydney and a big club at Port Macquarie comes to mind.

It’s a new one, but the excuses are involving nicely, unlike our style of football.
There’s nothing new about it. Did Robinson and Barrett not know Hastings might cause problems within their respective playing groups? They knew. But his talent meant he was worth the risk. Every coach takes these chances.

Do you 2 honestly believe if the same shit happens between now and end of next season (or at some point next season) that anyone you're currently berating will bat an eyelid if and when BA isn't rehired? Or do you think Pou will jump up and down about BA deserving a longer opportunity?
I reckon unless we start next year extremely well that Arthur won’t have his contract extended. I also doubt whoever replaces him will have any sustained success until we get a significant amount of TPAs bolstering our squad.

Taking risks on players is nothing new, look at us with Mau, Edwards and Wicks. On the whole they paid off IMO. It’s just a new excuse from the excuses king.
