It's concerning we are trying to punt both Norman and Jennings without having as good quality replacements. Sure, Hayne and Gutho can play centre but that leaves us weaker at fullback and if Salmon plays centre, then we are weaker at centre.
And we don't even have a 6 to replace Norman.

What’s a bigger concern is we’re trying to offload our highest paid players. We say we are lacking leaders, I say our biggest lack of leadership if from the coach.

If the amount your paying him (200k) is still in the top 30 wages then it counts otherwise teams could just cut players left right and centre paying huge chunks of all their contracts and replace them all.

He is if what we are paying him to play elsewhere is still in your top 30 wages, thats why it's a dumb policy.

There is no rule that actually cuts a player off your roster. You are still alowed to have 30 players however their quality is somewhat diluted.

Its like years ago, 2014 i think ... we were claimed to be running with a 22 man top 25 because we were paying merkins to play elsewhere
