Can anyone here confirm that Addin Fonua-Blake is off contact? If he is my God....I would be going very hard on this guy. Only 22 yrs only played 60 odd NRL games. Just coming into his own now. Hell even if he is not off contract, I would be offering him enough to entice him to break the contract and want to come to Parra. With all the coaching crap going on at Many right now you never know it might be very doable. But this guy is ver very good and will only get better. Pisses on anything we have at the club right now. Him and Junior would be an impressive pare to build our frontrow punch from and give the rest of the team some space to work with.

Wasn't he a Parra junior?

I think the squad as is will do fine. I saw enough and thunk fit squad and emergence of juniors with addition of guys we signed will push us back into finals.
Moses and Norman cant play as bad and I doubt Jennings could either.

As much as I would like to believe this there's nothing to suggest 2019 will be be that much different to 2018. This year, we never won an away game and lost more home games than we won. Next year, we will be several weeks into the season before we even get to play at the new stadium. By then, the knives may be swapped for swords and our 2018 players may be still be numpties. A lot will have to change between now and the day we play our first game at Parra. It's very exciting!

Enough about Parramatta for a minute. What's Freddy Fittler on? The other day he suggested the minor premiers should get a discount on their salary cap for the next year. Today he suggests that Manly and the Bears merge. Revolutionary!

If it's a cunning plan to eventually have the bears replace Manly then count me in.

should be the other way around

wooden spoon should be given exemptions not minor premiers, that's why the last team get first draft picks in other codes

Freddy has lost it

The Sharks have a surplus of halves with Moylan, Townsend, Flanagan Jr and possibly Jack Bird returning.

If/when we release Norman or Moses would we take someone like Townsend and offer them one of our misfiring halves ?

It is the dumbest of dumb ideas. As is Panthers playing NZ at homebush ffs. Nrl just make mistake after mistake.

Nrl isn't about finishing first. If it was you would have to play everyone twice home and away otherwise it is a silly race. As is players missing for origin etc. Far to many advantages/disadvantages in where finish.
Last season we had a soft draw while this year the Roosters have it.

Townsend is average at best. No thanks. He will end up in UK.
Jack Bird would go to centre.

freddy has probably been saying this shit for ten years but it's only now that he's a winning origin coach that anyone actually listens to it
