I think once the season is over and the salary cap musical chairs begins, they’ll start to happen. The lack of signing announcements is concerning.

Watmough's had a lot more success than Graham. That said, I'm sure Graham is subsidised at the Dragons. My point is they wouldn't have paid more than he is worth, whether he is subsidised or not. If we wanted to sign him we would have had to pay at least as much, and I contend we shouldn't have. Graham is a toiler and we already have plenty of those. He was worth more to the Dragons than to us. He was a good signing for them. It doesn't mean he would be a good signing for us.
Foran might have played a few reasonable game for The Eels but he was missing immediately he joined for one reason or another. Just my opinion but I sensed he wasnt seen to favourably by the rest of the squad. All our forwards improved after Watmough signed with us. Arthur knew Watmough from their time together at Manly. I'd say he knew exactly what he was getting. Neither he nor Foran hurt us in the long term, but both provided short term benefits. And as I said, our forwards grew an extra leg after Watmough signed. Might've just been coincidence but.
We won 7 from 12 before Foran left, including 6 from 9 when he played. Small sample, but that's the only sample we have.Foran might have played a few reasonable game for The Eels but he was missing immediately he joined for one reason or another. It wasn't Arthur's place to control Foran's mental health. The guy had a mental illness that obviously wasn't a problem before he left Manly, though it seems to have been a problem ever since.I also believe BA must have known of Forans "issues". He just thought he was strong enough to control the situation. Obviously he wasnt.
I thought BA would sort him out.We won 7 from 12 before Foran left, including 6 from 9 when he played. Small sample, but that's the only sample we have.

But Foran has had no problem picking up further contracts despite his issues.
no player who wants to win a premiership would sign to play under Uncle ArthurThe lack of signing announcements is concerning.

Source? Not true, every player wants to win a premiership......
They probably wouldn't sign with Parra would they? We weren't exactly contenders before Arthur joined. But he gave us our best regular season finish since 2005.no player who wants to win a premiership would sign to play under Uncle Arthur

Foran was my favourite non Parra player before we signed him. Now he is on my permanent shit list.
Poor mental health is not a choice. Subject to responsible rehab, nor are injuries.Foran was my favourite non Parra player before we signed him. Now he is on my permanent shit list.

They invited me to an open day. I took it all in, inhaled the stench of death, some of it rubbed off. It wasn't very exciting.deathrider
