No doubt they have more advantages but they also well managed enough to properly capitalise on those advantages.Well benefit of the doubt goes to them and gee they are lucky that they have so many independent sponsors of their players willing to put up cash every year..
Facts are that whilst we never wish to limit what a player can earn in the marketplace as (say) a brand ambassador, one town teams and teams with high profile billionaire owners have an unfair advantage. They have the ability to attract TPA sponsors whenever they need one, seemingly at any price.
There is no surprise that these teams have a high participation rate in finals football. The rest of the clubs struggle to be competitive every year. They will groom juniors and take punts on future marquee players with the hope that their short lived premiership window will bring them glory.
Meanwhile there are 4 teams that seem to have their premiership window permanently ajar.
From time-to-time a team will rise from the bunch and allow Todd to remark how well the salary cap is working.

If true it would not surprise me that the coach has told him that he will probably be in black n white all season.
Can’t post links to site here as they are generally unreliable, google “the lurker”
True and to perform consistently you also need to be well managed.I agree that clubs need to be well managed but the most integral ingredient of gaining sponsorship support is performance consistency. If you are are a consistent top 8 team then your brand is a no brainer from a marketing POV.
How do you get that momentum ? No club outside the one towners and billionares have worked that out as yet.

or maybe it depends on how much we are willing to chip in for Peachy, assuming BA is talking to him
Peachy Said yesterday his comments were taken out of context and he’ll 100% honour his deal at the Titans
Those TPAs are in no way contingent on the players remaining at the Broncos so they're completely legit.I bet Brisbane haven’t recorded themselves talking about how they are going to structure a heap of TPAs to keep them on the books.
That’s smart.
They would also be required to hold meetings with Andrew Gee in the car park of the Red Hill bowls club at midnight on the first Tuesday of every month. Those TPAs are in no way contingent on the players remaining at the Broncos so they're completely legit.
The players would have to remain in Brisbane though.
