Moses got us to the top four. That's as good as a premiership for a club with structural disadvantages like ours. He was worth it.

Playing the 7 other Top 8 opponents only 9 times, two during Origin, and the bottom 8 teams 15 times I'd say helped a fair bit in making the Top 4 too.

Our record was as good against the top eight sides as it was against the bottom eight.

But, having said that, we had a team in 2018 that at worst should've been competitive and challenged for the Top 8.

I think our squad has holes in it all over the park. Our 6, 7 don’t work together and the backups are rookies who are not ready yet. They also have questionable attitudes and know they aren’t really wanted.

Our 9s are very inexperienced, undersized and Kaysa is injury prone

Our only decent 1 is Hayne who isn’t even signed.

Besides Paulo our middle is weak and routinely gets dominated.

We are sorely lacking a destructive edge back rower.

On the plus side Gutho at centre is solid.

Trent Robinson had more credibility because he had success in the UK and won a premiership with the Roosters.

Arthur can only dream about that type of achievement.

Exactly. There’s nothing wrong with our roster other than key personalities exerting negative influence. That could just as well include the coach, but our playing talent levels are fine.

Which is not to say we won’t suck again next year. We have all the same shit personalities, plus bringing in two more high profile recruits who have had their issues in the past. It’s a risk (as was this year and probably the previous competitive years), but risks are very exciting.
