We just have to rely on ambush to pay back Penrith, The Roosters to be suffering a premiership hangover, the Dogs not improving, the Sharks to be on the decline and the Raiders to continue to give up points in the back half of the game. And for us to be playing near to our best.

If we are getting flogged with pedestrian attack and woeful defence, then yeah maybe he will be on very thin ice.
But if we are competing well and are simply beaten by a team just playing better, then things are not so clear cut.

It will come down to the number of wins and losses. If we are ‘competing’ each game but consistently losing by teams playing better then he will get the boot. If most teams are ‘playing better’ then it shows we aren’t good enough.
