None of us know what happened. All we know is that we were the last club he ever coached at. Hagan was the other who nobody else wanted after Parramatta.
Hagan had a nervous breakdown.

Like a deadset nappy made of black hair I reckon
But he was a premiership winner.
f**k of Pou with all your circular shit you dickhead.
It’s so f**king monotonous.
You having a joke Venge or do you honestly believe he is a bad influence? I have to say my observations are that positive cultures dont seem to follow him around but I really dont know if thats just all talk.Just blame Hayne.
Haven't we all, following this mental case of a club for the last 30 odd years?Hagan had a nervous breakdown.
Seven premierships or whatever aren't enough success? If he couldn't win a premiership do you really think Souths would have signed him? That's not succession planning. They turfed him, pure and simple. If he'd had more success they wouldn't have.
And maybe Arthur isn't the type of coach that should be responsible for strategic direction. I'd say very few of them are. This decision is a head of football task."Last year when we had team lunches only half the side would be there,” prop Tepai Moeroa said.
How the hell was this allowed to happen?
I dont believe for one second that last years coaching staff are responsible for the positive changes happening this season.
Maybe The Review has allowed The New Board and Bernie to finally flex their muscles and provide direction.
I refer back to Bernies comments post the initial full club training day. "BA is onboard with this" he said. In BAs defence he did point out that it wasnt his idea in todays interview.
A great initiative. Maybe the place is finally being managed.
If you list the things that were different between last year and this year, he is definitely one of them. But only one.Just blame Hayne.

Shooting down all your bullshit arguments is 'circular' now is it?But he was a premiership winner.

I know a few players that can’t cop him.If you list the things that were different between last year and this year, he is definitely one of them. But only one.
It was a joke you dope.Shooting down all your bullshit arguments is 'circular' now is it?
I agree it's monotonous though. You need to stop giving me ammunition.
I don't know either but there is fair evidence he's a negative influence. You having a joke Venge or do you honestly believe he is a bad influence? I have to say my observations are that positive cultures dont seem to follow him around but I really dont know if thats just all talk.

f**k he was good though. I still can’t believe how he has fallen though. It’s actually quite sad.

can't think of another club with off field probs and a coach under pressure

SHOOSH
THE poor off-field behaviour of players at one NRL club is causing grief for the coach. Management is disappointed the coach hasn’t been stronger with team discipline. He is under enough pressure to get results in 2019 without the extra drama.
No Im positive he couldnt do it all and thats the issue. Like Bernie said "its not like BA was jumping up and down for a HoF Manager". Too much trust was placed in the hands of a bloke who couldnt measure up. Who's fault that was we arent sure. Thankfully it appears BAs role has been reduced which is good for the entire club. Whether he now shines remains to be seen. He has been given his chance. I wonder if hes still getting paid the same with all the responsibilities taken from him?Ever thought with more staff on board this year it’s easier to organise days like today?? And Additionally the extra resources may allow the club the focus on more areas then previously possible!!
I mean considering during last year’s off season BA had one assistant coach, no Footy Manager, less staff in the training department, no one doing Potter’s role, no junior manager (like Grima is doing) etc etc etc , and you expect him to organise a whole of club training day with 200 plus players, along with training the NRL side and all the other responsibilities with it ?
Do you really think BA had the capacity to do everything?
It’s us for sure.heard of the bulldogs, cowboys, Newcastle,....
It was a joke you dope.
You’ve been good lately.
I think you’re a joke.I dont think it was a joke. I reckon it was a natural reaction. But then you had no real comeback so called it a joke .
Just my opinion.
