3. BA always has an edge forward on the bench, thus we have 3 in the top 17.

BA also carries 2 hookers - If Mahoney is not elevated to top 30 then he will carry either Smith or Stone as utilty and back up to Kaysa.

We cant afford to carry a 2nd hooker and a back up backrower unless its a backrower that can play middle.

Esan Marsters would be worth a go. Quality attacking centre and can kick goals. Hard to pry him away though you'd reckon.

Would welcome Alex Twal back too, even if he is similar to Alvaro. We're not likely to get a better prop before the season starts.
