Animals, including humans organise themselves in hierarchies.

There are benefits to being closer to the top which I guess is why some people assert themselves or worry about what others might see as trivial. Others like yourself are happy with their lot and don't feel the need to push for more.

Neither way is right or wrong and that difference amongst individuals is what makes the world such a rich and interesting place.

Not 100% but fairly sure Dylan Brown is a goal kicker.

People can chose what like to do to keep the mind active. Some like knowledge and learning.Others enjoy travel and seeing new places. Some enjoy collecting possesions and wealth.
Whatever chose I just do not see point of stressing over it. I would lean towards learning new things. But doesnt mean I dont like to travel or take the responsibility of working to sustain my lifestyle. Unlike many I just never got anything that deep and meaningfull from travel.

As far as social status goes what can you do or get? Sure you could work assholes off and have maybe a house and an investment property as well.

Was at a funeral last week, where the only son in the family died at the tender age of 24. The deceased is actually first cousins with a current first grader, and his father is a retired businessman, of considerable wealth.

It means sweet f all in the current situation. The father would give his wealth up in a heartbeat, to bring his only son back. Some people have just drawn a short f-ing straw.

That’s life I guess, it has its ups and downs. And we whinge about not jagging a Comp for 30 plus years. Pffft
