Given the shoulder surgery I'd like to see Kyle start the year in Flegg, even if it's for a month just to give him a bit of confidence in his shoulder.

Biggest issue our squad has is at moment is a couple of top 30 players have guys behind them who aren't innit amd better prospects.

Yes better prospects but in the main still very young. I know I've banged on here about Gower and Andrew Davis but their puzzling selection in top 30 means 2 of our promising youngsters don't get a run. We're short a centre and dummy half and those 2 spots could have filled those positions with our juniors.

Mennings at his best is quicker and a better defender than his brothers. Rennings would be the best attacker though. Also better suited on the wing.

Noted your comment but hope Mennings has a huge improvement from 2018 form. Unless he improves can only see him getting a game if our replacement centre options are poor, which on paper they are. Not an encouraging sign for our upcoming season.

Don't like French much, but I want Gutherson in the centres. Didn't pick Dylan Brown 'cause I've never seen him play, and I've seen so many juniors talked up over the years who didn't deliver, that I'm going to wait and see. And although Salmon didn't do much in 1st grade last year, he did show composure and didn't look overawed in any way. Might be a good steady five-eight for Moses at half. I'd like to believe that Mahoney can be an 80 minute hooker, this allowing us to field four forwards on the bench. If not, then Pritchard comes in at 14. IMO we desperately need a fullback. Willing to give French one last chance there, but without a tremendous amount of confidence. Cheers.

I agree. I don't think he was that bad. He's a great defensive centre.

Gower is also a very skillful player. I rate him as one of our best buys in the last ten years.

Seeing there are 32 of them in the NRL in any given week I reckon he would be lucky to come 20th yet we have given him $800k for his last year. And you wonder why BA doesn’t doesnt manage the cap anymore.

I'v never hidden the fact i'm a huge fan of the talent coming through. If you look at my posts dating back for awhile now iv held the current crop of kids in high regard. Parry, Dunster, Schneider, Brown, F. Utoikamanu, S Utoikamanu. Kaufusi.
I can tell you i'v been in and around league for a long time, I am currently employed in the industry and i have relationships with Players, Coaches and Recruitment at allot of clubs including Parramatta.
Having the relationship i have i hear first hand information from all the above mentioned and i share with the group for anyone wanting information that i have been informed..
I have been a Parramatta supporter for many years and had 2 stints at the club over the years.

As much as i go on about Brown, Schneider and co, I remember you also being a pork chop and me accusing you that you were Mahoneys father or relative as i shared an opinion that you didnt agree with..
Yeah i might get excited regarding some players but its information told to me from sources not only at Parramatta but those in the know of NSWRL and National rugby league.

Every single information i have ever posted on here is FACT from highly credible and reliable sources at the club. Plus things i have seen first hand.

With your limited posts you only ever seem to pop up and post something when i compare Schneider to Mahoney and every time you don't agree with me.
Mahoney has over 2 years on Schneider and all round skill wise Schneider is better than Mahoney.
Yes there are questions regarding his shoulder after surgery and yes he is young and his body shape needs a few kgs.
But his doing NRL pre season as a middle forward at 18yo and beating Mahoney in nearly everything at training FACT.! And mind you a full year and some before Mahoney ever did.!

Was BA managing the cap in Jan 2016 when we signed Mennings for a 4+1 (or was it 3+2) contract ?
