We don't know the truth but the report from police is:

?On Tuesday, 28 June 2016, a 26-year-old woman attended Rosehill Police Station, and reported that her partner a 24-year-old man, assaulted her on a number of occasions between September 2014 and April 2015, at their home in Parramatta,? a police statement Fairfax read.

he is innocent until proven otherwise and any DV allegations cannot be substantiated at this point in time

No they aren't, but you are of the belief it's all ok as long as he can help us win games. I'm not commenting on the AVO none of us have a clue but he has broken 3 deadlines to return to the club and back to training. It's poor form on his part and he shouldn't just expect to waltz straight back into the side while his teammates have been working their arses off at training.

But you're suggesting that I would just wave off domestic abuse as if it is even in the same league as being late back from leave.

On Edit: by the way, I take great offense to that assumption. It's insulting.

Which, by the way unless you didn't notice my sarcasm before, it bloody isn't. It's a completely different thing.

You seem to take great offence by most things on here, i never said at all you would wave off domestic violence. But you seem happy to let Semi do as he pleases , as long as he score us some tries and help us win some games. My little dig was to fire you up looks like it worked ;-)

P.S. This is different than my regular "shits and giggles" internet offense.

I am personally, real life offended that you think I would excuse ANYONE of domestic violence, for any reason. Jokes and internet bullshit aside, that really hurt me.

Fire up son!!!

If you took it that way i apologise, but i've been saying all day i think his behaviour hasn't been good enough. While you just seemed worried about winnings games, IMO the culture of the club is far more important then winning games in a season that is completely dead.

Thanks for the apology, but how else was I supposed to take it?

Our Season isn't dead. Not yet anyway. That's the difference here, you see these games as lame ducks, inconsequential, but we actually still have a valid shot at the finals, a slim chance as it is, it is still there. That's why I value winning games. Sure if we were completely out with zero chance of making the finals at all, I'd be agreeing with you. But we need to be playing finals footy. More for our (the fans) sake than anyone else, It'd be a nice bright cap on a shitpot of a season. As long as we are a chance to make it, yes I will put winning above stuff like whether a player is late to training or not. Obviously not serious things, which shouldn't have to be said, but I guess I have to now, otherwise you might say I'd let a player that murdered someone on live TV play the next day..

Staying a couple of extra days in Fiji isn't hurting anyone, not really. Yes it's a discipline issue, and I agree that he needs to be disciplined, taking him out of a game isn't going to teach him anything. Especially if he is already on the fence about whether or not he even wants to continue playing at all. He'd be just as likely to bugger off back to Fiji.

I'd agree with this if it wasn't the first time he has done it, Mannah even mentioned he does this every time he goes over to Fiji. The club has bent over backwards for him, and so has his coach. 3 times he extended his deadline and as we speak he still hasn't returned. I think the his team mates and coach deserve better. I believe the season was over as soon our punishment was handed down, i was happy to tell the NRL to go f**k themselves and keep the team together and keep winning. Yes we have a slight chance but whats to stop the NRL to raise the punishment to 16 points if we keep winning???? I honestly believe they don't want us anywhere near the finals and i have said that since the punishment was handed down.

We dont know if its a discipline issue or not, that's between Semi and BA at this point in time. Semi certainly seems to have some issues atm but it doesn't seem to be affecting his game.

Is it odd t start AVO application at this particular time fr alleged incidents which occurred as long ago as September 2014 and supposedly as late as April 2015??? When did they seperate?

Yes, it is rather late and unusual.

He is a little bit sensitive, I upset him all the time.

Well as a Permanent Resident here, he has no problems staying.
But as Baz said, getting a visa to leave here and go to France might be more difficult.
SOme donations of French francs to certain places will probably make it go away.
