In all likelihood the parra curse would have got him had he come straight to parra ... he would have been washed up 3 years ago
Yeah we would of given him aids no doubt about it.In all likelihood the parra curse would have got him had he come straight to parra ... he would have been washed up 3 years ago
Scott and Watmough come for a pay day. I am sure they huffed and puffed but both just baited the club and took them for what they are worth. Fooled them.
Two shithouse signings and only one eyed supporters would disagree to soften the blow of the duds they where and garbage they dished out.
Once guys get to 30 and played mainly for one club its hard for them to put their heart and soul i to a new team. Especially if already won the big prize.
Hindy/Hiney...who cares...You are both PLOP!!!
IMO Scott was really good for us in 2016-2017.
I agree to an extent but I reckon the most important part of 'developing' leaders is identifying and signing the right recruits. And we're definitely hamstrung in the signing bit.The original point about good managers developing leaders is a valid one.
Can anyone think of a player that has developed into a leader because of BA?
Yeah, I agree. If he'd been able to recruit some better leaders it would have rubbed off on other players.I agree to an extent but I reckon the most important part of 'developing' leaders is identifying and signing the right recruits. And we're definitely hamstrung in the signing bit.

No, but there isn't a player who's developed into a leader without BA's help either. The original point about good managers developing leaders is a valid one.

Hard to say as fans who has developed because of BA, we don't know. In fact I don't think anyone could argue the point that someone has become a leader solely because of BA.
But these are players I think are leaders now that weren't before: Gutherson, Brown, Alvaro, Moeroa. Are these players leaders because of BA? Hard to say. Guth could be a leader now because BA gave him the chance to be a major part of a team whereas at manly he was an afterthought, same with Brown at souths.
Yeah, agree. As not as straightforward as some try and make it.Hard to say as fans who has developed because of BA, we don't know. In fact I don't think anyone could argue the point that someone has become a leader solely because of BA.

It became very similar when Mannah was found to have stuffed sandpaper down his pants. Not dissimilar to our national cricket team. A lack of leadership becomes quite evident.
