Funny that Norman wanted to play 5/8 but Griffen put Hoffman there when Hoffman wanted to play fullback and they both eventually left. Now they might be back on the same team

Was Hoffman who Stags was talking about?
I personally don't rate Hoffman at all but I totally trust BA.
What position would he play? I kinda thought we have 2 fullbacks trying to fit into 1 spot as it is?!

No need for nuffies like Toutai or Folau in the starting line-up if we sign Hoffman. Maybe the plan is:

1. Hoffman
2. Semi
3. Jennings
4. Taka
5. French/Gutherson
6. Gutherson/Norman
7. Norman/French

Hoffman should do a better job than Gordon, and leave us to spend more of Foran's money where we need to (signing/upgrading forwards).

Hmm, that doesn't fill me with excitement. I really hope Hoffman doesn't get signed to play fullback. Wing fine but fullback no for mine.

I personally think Hoffman is a first grader but I've never really seen him excel in any one position.

BA doesn't look like he's keen to spend big money on fullback... Robinson and Gordon since Hayne's depature. We could always swap wing/fullback options in pre-season until we settle on one that fits - Guth, French, or Hoffman?

By signing Vave and hopefully Brown, BA is adding some power and impact up front. We just need one more element of playmaking creativity somewhere in the side (Norman + ? - maybe another hooker/half signing...) to maximise our opportunities from a dominant pack.

Tend to agree. I was hoping maybe Lolohea was being looked at. Hoffman is OK, probably better than OK, but not exactly anyone to get too jazzed about TBH

Hoffman is a good fit if you think about it. Can play fullback and centre and wing and 5/8th too.
No pressure on Bev either way, but doesn't block him if he comes up.
