Maloney and Moses would be awesome together defending in the halves.
In fairness to Moses he has improved his defence, actually puts effort in and has a good level of anticipation.
Id pass on Maloney. He looks battered. I think Dylan Brown will be back soon anyway.
If i was to give anyone a lifeline it would be Aidan Sezer. Good game manager, good kicking game and a goal kicker too. Again and just to emphasise only if Brown is not coming back this year and if the Salmon experiment is over.
Salmon was unlucky to have been brushed for the Nth Qld game. There were far worse than him in the storm game

Who from Penrith should we target when the fire sale starts?

RCG? Waqa Blake, DWZ?
Waqa Blake for sure..
RCG has ability. Not sure why he introduced turning his back into the defence. May coincided with that crap mo..that will need to go if we sign him.
DWZ for the right price. Still young, experienced and if u can control his brain explosions and temper his aggression would be a very handy pick up. Very versatile too.
These guys are all a little bit out of form but when on song they are very good quality first graders. 2 internationals and a potential origin player

I remember when you mentioned them as future NRL players. It was great spotting.
Obscene assasin was all over Dargan and Lavaka and Goodal and you went against the grain. But you nailed it.

Yeah we definitely know more then your average bear.

I also pointed out when French was still in the lower grades that he reminded me of a Reece Robinson type of player just faster and a little more skilful and that I wasn't convinced that he would make it at NRL level. Of course in the right powerful team, just like Reece, he would look great, but not to expect much from him in a team that isn't able to protect him or cover for his weakness in defence or rag dolling.

Then all the old heavy weights like Stagger came out of the wood work and hammered me and saying that I had no idea and that they were the fountain of all knowledge because they are in the "KNOW" and watch these players et cetera, et cetera.

Well, look where we are today. I hoped that I was wrong, but Heavens to Betsy, I was spot on again.

The whole team isn't playing shit. We've won half our games ffs. Exactly the amount you'd expect with this squad. But our middle defence is worse than last year and the reason is Paulo.

Obviously he is also a big reason for our much improved attack. I like him in the team, but we need to cover for him in defence. Hanging onto the f**king ball would help limit his workload without it.

I was being facetious because of your silly statements. If you really think that Paulo is the reason behind our poor performances, then you really are a loon.

Wouldn't have anything to do with our ruck falling to bits in the last two games and our line speed in defense being sub par? By the way the tempo of our line speed in defense is generally created by Reed M.

When BA decided to start without him against the Storm, the coach sealed our fate. What imbecile doesn't learn from his first time mistake and does it again, to only repeat a similar style shellacking?

Bullshit news...

Most clubs would find a place for him. His manager would of said Parra are offering 650k so have to beat by atleast 50k before he gets interested.
Id say 5 or 6 clubs would of been prepared to give him 650k as well but very few wanted to offer over 700k. And my guess is 700 wouldn't of taken him away. May of needed 720k to have him leave.
It was all media bullshit made up by his manager to get a higher offer from us. And in a way he did, we paid a bit more for this year.

Not sure you can comprehend. Pou said Mannah would walk into any other team. My comment was to refute that ridiculous claim with the Gutho example. Understand now TSQ and you?
I think I comprehend. You were implying that since our best player (a fullback) didn't receive any offers @650k to join another club, then another player, (a prop) wouldn't make another team's top 17. Is that right??

His tackle efficeny is 80%....
Klemmer is 97%

Terepo 90%
Jnr 86%
Gower 97%
Kafusi 84%
Tepai 90%
Evans 95%
Manu 88%
Mannah 92%

Alvaro is there for his defense? Get him in NSW cup where his form might improve.
Absalute garbage this season.
Another promising junior failing to hit his straps. Who do you blame? Him or his coaches, I'd say the latter. Other teams obviously have better systems in place to improve their juniors, Storm, Brisbane and Roosters are obvious examples. This is an area woefully obvious to all and sundry, our poor first up contact and failing to lock the ball up. Time for a new defensive coach, but don't expect BA to change him, too soft to even demote players after a shit game. This is the core of our mediocrity imo. No responsibility placed on players.

Oh I can comprehend

I can comprehend the complete irrelevance of your attempted example.

I still would love to put a top 30 squad together. Let's put it on the bucket list.

We played them into form and look at them go now...
Throwing it out there and will upset some on here but if James Roberts is on the outer we should be looking to get him to the club before June 30.
Him and Fergo would make a lethal combo on the right. I also think Fergo could be the big brother Roberts needs.
Roberts has the blinding speed our side also lacks
Get ready for us to play the Panthers into form. We're the benchmark team out of form teams should play to get into form.

Assuming Mitchell Moses is staying and assuming that Dylan Brown is out for the remainder of the season (i don't know if he will be back, I haven't heard or seen an update recently), do you (everyone here, not just Avenger) reckon it would be worth us trying to get James Maloney to the club? Moses has never played with a much more experienced half nor one who has accomplished as much as Maloney has. I reckon it'd be a great thing for Moses' game. The drawback would be the length of time Maloney would probably want.
Read somewhere that Drown is back in training so hopefully back in a few weeks.
