Lol at telling Pou to get the squad succession thread primed. That things so far out of date, it’s gone through sewerage treatment

Has Taka missed a game under BA besides for injury and suspension???

How many howlers has he put in??? Let alone bog average games. Yeah he has skill and size and can do some fancy shit but when the game is on the line or we need a smart tough play he’d be the last bloke you’d want near the play. He’s a BA fav, just like Kaysa and Dill Smith. Must be great off the Field somehow....

yeh I get that, but why is he allegedly signing DWZ ?

I dont think he has the love that you think he does, I think he plays Taka as there are no other options but it appears he wants another option

6 seasons and ever missed a game. No matter how poor he plays, now he finds a bench spot for him. Yeah he hates him.

If he has asked for a release, the Panthers don't have to cover any of his salary. He's the one bailing on a contract, not the Panthers.

EDIT - actually, the SMH report that the Panthers may yet chip in on some of his salary to get him off their books...

They don't have to, but if they want him off the books to allow someone else to join, they might find that they need to.

And there's no evidence that he asked for an unconditional release, rather the permission to negotiate with other clubs:

“Earlier this week, Dallin Watene-Zelezniak’s management sought permission from Panthers to speak with other NRL clubs regarding Dallin’s immediate and future playing career,” the Panthers said in a statement.

“This permission was granted following discussions by the club’s retention and recruitment committee.

“Out of respect for all parties, the club will be making no further comment at this time.”

Where does he play?

Centre? He can cover wing and fullback but I feel those positions are taken.

If it is centre I gather Salmon and Parry aren't rated as our 2020 centre pairing.I thought they where a chance.
Parry has never played first grade! You can't plan for him to be in the top 17 next year.

answer the f**king question numnuts, you should be a politician

why is he signing DWZ ffs ?

Taka has been a decent part of the squad and would be on a modest contract.
If MJ costs an average to 700k then Taka would of cost half then that. He has had some great games and some poor ones. But he isn't what has determined the clubs success.
Taka on bench is a great utlitly.
If a back goes down we are covered and same goes for a half. And if not he play second row and give Lane or Nikuore a break.

Finally he may have realised he’s not a centres arsehole?? Only took him 6 seasons to figure it out. What a footballing mind he has.

Still he finds a spot for this fraud on the bench while as usual the young player in the squad gets the bullet. Development club lol.

Sorry mate Dallin and his management have asked for a release so Penrith will not be chipping any money in
Those two facts are not mutually exclusive.
Earlier in the week Panthers gave him permission to talk to other clubs so they may have already decided to chip in something if he found a new club.

he's a decent utility tho, centre, 5/8 and back row

much prefer DWZ in the centres and Taka can have his brain farts on the bench
