Because without big noting myself, there are people at the club who know who stagger is and if ive been told something in confidence than no matter what is big or small I won't be sharing it until it comes to fruition..

I reckon BA will look to start with one workhorse and one impact front rower next year (so Mannah and Vave come to mind). Give Vave a 15-20 minute stint, before bringing say Wicks on and them rest Mannah after his longer minutes - he is getting about 25 mins at the start - and replace him with Brown. Wicks can easily do 40 mins in the middle of the game. Second half Mannah returns for Brown about 15 into it and then Vave replaces Wicks with 20 to go.

But I have no f**ken idea really so who knows.

Haven't heard Tupou's name mentioned since he re signed with the roosters last year but the roosters do have 6 outside backs of NRL and rep standard to fit into 5 spots... I wouldn't be surprised if there are moves behind the scenes to get him here with the crooks paying some of the freight

You'd want him on the field if you were behind on the scoreboard. And if you're in front you just give him fewer minutes in his second stint - essentially just to give one of your better defenders a rest.

Just a couple of bits/ gossip / Rumours to come out of last night.

* Brown should be announced shortly.

* the outside back isn't a big name player by any stretch but good player who would probably be a better back up than those that are already there, his name was mentioned in social media circles and around the ground last night..

* no mention of josh Hoffman ( although he may be in the picture ) but there could be at least 2 more outside backs that could be done shortly.

* the younger brothers of Bevan French have been tied up for next year both very very talented ( Dion and Luke ) ne is 15 the other 18.

* young tigers nyc player Roy stone is signed.

Luke French looks taller than Bevan. Perhaps the body shape of a more genuine winger.

No mate, this is me. I agree Taufua's go forward is outstanding, but that will also inflate his price. To get value out of such a winger you need to give him maximum runs (as we do with Radradra). The problem is that you can't get full value out of two of these wingers because they have to 'share' a lot of the runs they would be getting paid to do. Taufua is best value at a club without a go forward winger.

And as mentioned, he is a liability against the kick.
