Maybe depends in what skill he has in and around the ruck. Most backrowers from RL end up in the centres in RU. Ben Te’o, SBW and Sam Burgess come to mind.

Flankers tend to be high workrate terriors. Not sure that Tepai fits that mould.

Those three guys are skilful and have a bit of toe for their size. Tep doesn't have the speed, the agility, the ball skills for centre, even in RU. Plus at the Waratahs they already have enough genuine outside centres. His work rate has been his strength in the past, he's too small for the front row...probably a bit bulky for the back row. Flanker or lock you'd think.

All that being said Darryl Gibson is a bit of a stupid so whom knows

Like giving away a 5th tackle penalty vs Sharks just as we were getting back into the game.

Enough is enough, he simply has not provided what we need.
His a f**kn goose. Taking out kickers , late. Poor defence at times and f**kall attack! f**k him off, I say.

Waqa Blake signs with the Eels

The Parramatta Eels Rugby League Club has signed Penrith Panthers centre Waqa Blake on a four-and-half year contract commencing this week and concluding at the end of the 2023 NRL Telstra Premiership season.

The powerful centre made his NRL debut with the Panthers in 2015 and has since scored 34 tries in 88 first grade appearances, finishing 2018 as the leading try scorer for his Club.

Parramatta Eels Head Coach Brad Arthur said he was looking forward to welcoming Waqa to Parramatta.

“It’s pleasing to have landed a quality player in Waqa as we head towards the business end of the season. We want to ensure that we complement our playing squad with strong acquisitions and Waqa certainly fits the criteria we are looking for.

In 2015 Waqa was selected for NSW City Origin squad and made his international debut for Fiji in 2017.

Hasn't Gibson resigned? Doubt he's got any say in recruitment
