As it stands... 2017 barring injuries I see...
1 French
2 Radradra
3 Jennings (although he plays next to Semi)
4 Taka
5 (Wide open)
6 Gutherson
7 Norman
8 Mannah
9 IDG
10 Wicks
11 Mau
12 Moeroa
13 Scott
14 Pritchard
15 Edwards
16 Brown
17 Vave

Forwards we have Alvaro, Peni, Nelson, that young prop that name escapes me.
The backs are what concerns me.

Hey Ram Tepai just made over 100mtrs again?

No he didn't. I noticed yesterdays NZ commentators were wrapping him deluxe also comparing him to both Taumolomo
and Papalii. Now there's a laugh. When was the last time our boy powered over the top of defenders and broke through the line leaving mangled bodies in his wake. Or hit an opponent so hard he lay strewn on the deck for a minute or two? Oh that's right, never. I think they have fallen into the trap of, "geez his big and he looks so busy, he must be killing them like he did in the lower grades", bullshit that many unwittingly would considering his lower grade deeds and rep.

Sure he tackles a lot, but I ask you, which version of Hindmarsh would you like more, the young tackle breaking, free running and high tackling version or the tackle crazy/flopper, older version?

Cos at the moment we have neither, he is just the reasonably high tackling variant of the two. Like I said, I don't want him to be a tackling machine. That would be a waste of his size and power. He needs to start making inroads into the defense. To say that he is young at 22 is a cop out. Many forwards have been internationals and state players at his age for being top notch at both parts of the game. Hindmarsh was just one.

But like I said before, he isn't a bad player per se, it is just that he is a disappointment to me considering the hype and promise, thus far. He still has time on his side, so I still expect more improvement, starting from next season when we should have more muscle and thrust from our very mobile pack. Especially if we can jag a decent hooker from somewhere to get us on the front foot, like the better teams do. It all starts at the ruck people.

He bent Vatuvei in half, a feat not too many other players can lay claim to.

If he was 22 I would say yes he should be closer to peak. Which for this guy I think will be about age 23 - 29

In 2019 thru to 2025 you will see the best of Tepai. Be patient Ram as he is doing a decent job currently for a 20yld

f**k you are a dickhead sometimes Ram. Do you really think that it was Watts that I was having a little dig at?

Just because you don't like the accusation, doesn't make it no true, whether deliberate or unintentional. My feeling is that it is unintentional, but when a person is constantly brought up as part of a public joke for being a loser, directly or indirectly...well you work it out.

Ok sorry, I thought someone wrote on here the other day he was 22. My bad. Yes, he is still young, but still I think he is under achieving in the offensive part of the game.

Yeah ok one tackle. Not exactly a highlight reel standout though. Didn't even hear Vossy point it out after the match. That's how much it stood out. In fact has any footy pundit, lauded praise on him since the initial high praise when he first started? Has anyone after a game said, yeah wow, that Taipei Moroa kid had a great game today?

No they haven't, because he just doesn't catch the eye. Why? Because he he is underwhelming and basically just tackles solidly, with the occasional strong surge.

I'm hoping he develops further next year and make me eat my words.

You maybe right. But patience, sometimes, is something I find hard to wait for.

I think the viscous fish has made more of an impact the Tepai in attack Both are the same age and it will be interesting to see who ends up the better player. Tepai is a more solid defender thou.
