Come on guys, the past is less relevant than the future. And next year is looking pretty rosy for Parra.
*9Do you think the Tigers can make the top 8?
Latrell is no doubt a huge talent, but it appears there's a bit of baggage there we could well do without. MJ may have lost a bit of speed, but he's still class. I think I'd rather MJ + 400k to spend elsewhere than Latrell at this point in time.
Sure if there is someone else available
Another prop would be good. But it also means they only play 35-40mins while Latrell gets 80....Unsure what other positions need filling unless we unloaded a guy and upgraded. Examples Arrow for Brown or Lane for Frizzel.
The top 13 looks a lock bar centre spot.
Come on Pou, the past is less relevant than the future. And next year is looking pretty rosy for Parra.Hayne took all those spoons with him when he left.
With Hayne:
2006: 12 wins
2007: 13
2008: 11
2009: 12
2010: 10
2011: 6
2012: 6
2013: 5
2014: 12
2018: 6
No Hayne:
2005: 16
2015: 9
2016: 13
2017: 16
2019: 14
Easy MOM the other night.I wouldn't get rid of Jennings now. He's been playing very good for Tonga.
and Latrell was close to the worst on field...alongside DCE.Easy MOM the other night.
I don’t want him, but we’re also no chance of signing him for $750k anyway. That may be, but it's worth remembering that you aint gonna be signing Latrell for a year, it'll be three years plus that you tie that money up for, and attack really isn't an issue for us across our current back line. I don't see Latrell as a better defender than MJ.
So even if that is so and there's nothing on the market now that improves us where we really need improvement ( middle defence ) , there'll be a lot of blokes coming off contract over that time that very well might.
Again though from the outside looking in Latrell seems to have some issues that make him a less attractive proposition off the field, and I reckon that should make us wary, at the Roosters he's not the biggest fish in the pond, but at Parra he would be, kinda like Hayne was. I could be way off, but I reckon he would be detrimental to our culture in a similar way.
Roosters offered him 800k and he was insulted. So I don’t think 750k will get it done.I don’t want him, but we’re also no chance of signing him for $750k anyway.
Lol @ Boomer. You sound like a boomer. You judge people based on what they say on a discussion forum?
Yep. Our middle, whilst it doesn’t really have a particular weakness, could be improved so that either Alvaro or Kevans drop out of the starting side.If we have $800k spare we don’t need to spend it on a centre to make our already pretty good attack better.
We should spend it on a quality / leader type forward ....
They also only have one more roster spot to fill for 2020.The Bulldogs are desperate for a marquee signing.
Show me then.No mate this is not about 2018. You said that remark 75% through the 2019 season (where we were safely in the top 8 for every round).
So what happened to turn you from having a negative to positive mindset ?
He'll fill out the NSW Cup team. Highly doubt he'll play NRL unless we have a really bad run with injuries. Is Gower the oldest player in NRL?
I DONT MIND him for depth. Good for 10 games a year
So did 2018 on 1 November 2017.Come on guys, the past is less relevant than the future. And next year is looking pretty rosy for Parra.
