Parramatta Eels throw lifeline to young half Brock Lamb
Parramatta are set to bolster their halfback ranks by signing former Knights and Roosters pivot Brock Lamb.

Lamb, a 22-year-old Knights junior, started this season at the Roosters but managed just one game behind the established Cooper Cronk-Luke Keary combination.

Out of frustration, he moved to England, where he played some good football for the London Broncos to attract the attention of Eels coach Brad Arthur.


Lamb is expected to sign with the Eels before the end of this week and will be a handy back-up to the classy combination of Mitchell Moses and Dylan Brown.

The former Australian Schoolboy could also prove a valuable addition in 2021, with Brown coming off contract at the end of next season and a host of rival clubs already showing interest in him.


Brown debuted this year and was among the best rookies to hit the NRL scene in 2019, forming an immediate chemistry with Moses.
