Assuming it’s a similar system in Fiji, if you’re charged with an offence there’s either an objection to your bail or you’re released with similar to a Notice to Appear. The article is ambiguous but sounds like he’s had his bail objected to as he’s still in custody. Who knows how they do it over there but it reads a touch serious. Fingers crossed it isn’t.
