1-No
2-Keep one of them unless you can replace him. If you want Welch, Alvaro is the same player with healthy knees. Let Evans go and chase a big impact forward maybe? Gower will no doubt retire too.
3-No. They want to retire together I saw, and tbh while both are in the form of their lives, at their age I wouldn't personally be picking them over who we have. Would rather go after Cotric if it can be arranged.

Welch is a big risk injury wise (unless he wants to take a decent pay cut).

No worries, pou. I thought you could differentiate between winning a decent share of games against average teams as opposed to our record against our bogey teams. In other words, if we beat most of the average teams as well as a fair percentage of our bogey teams, we'll be in a good frame of mind come finals time.

Yes I meant Keary, but I don't think Cleary is Robson. Cleary is the Iceman and is getting better all the time. Remember he is only 22 years old. He has still got 3 or 4 years of learning and maturing his game into a complete weapon. He has a German no nonsense, must get the job done no matter what, type of attitude.

Just because he doesn't have the fancy trick shots doesn't mean he is a Robson type of player. He will be more in the class of a Cronk by the time he is the finished product.

He steers the team around nicely. Lacks the money ball or magic of our boys but he sticks to a game plan better. Has a superior kicking game and a calm head.
People seem to forget these are also skills.

I’m sure we were in a good frame of mind in 2009. How’d that go in 2010? Likewise in week 2 of 2017 finals.
It’s all well and good being in right mindset but relying on beating bogey teams to get in that frame of mind is temporary. Premiers don’t worry about bogey teams

I reckon we are to short for the reason being the Roosters and Storm are better sides in finals. Rooster at 2.83 And Storm ar 3.52 with us at 6.76 seems about right. On par with Raiders.
