You pessimistic merkin.
We’ve got this.
I agree with him. I don’t think we can do it, even if we do win the minor premiership.

So if we lost all our games except in Townsville, Newcastle, Canbra and Scumland then it’s a successful season?I believe that beating a bogey team(s) in round 9 or thereabouts will go towards helping us in October.

Winning is nice and a sign of a good team but winning any one game isn’t the be all end all, outside the 3-4 post season games you need to win
1. NoJust some questions and I couldn’t be f**ked reading back.
1. Has Mahoney re-signed?
2. Should we let Alvaro and Kane Evans go and sign Welsh from the Storm for 2021?
3. Do we go after one of the Morris twins?
Just some questions and I couldn’t be f**ked reading back.

No worries, pou. I thought you could differentiate between winning a decent share of games against average teams as opposed to our record against our bogey teams. In other words, if we beat most of the average teams as well as a fair percentage of our bogey teams, we'll be in a good frame of mind come finals time.So if we lost all our games except in Townsville, Newcastle, Canbra and Scumland then it’s a successful season?

Yes I meant Keary, but I don't think Cleary is Robson. Cleary is the Iceman and is getting better all the time. Remember he is only 22 years old. He has still got 3 or 4 years of learning and maturing his game into a complete weapon. He has a German no nonsense, must get the job done no matter what, type of attitude.
Just because he doesn't have the fancy trick shots doesn't mean he is a Robson type of player. He will be more in the class of a Cronk by the time he is the finished product.
I’m sure we were in a good frame of mind in 2009. How’d that go in 2010? Likewise in week 2 of 2017 finals. No worries, pou. 5%What are our odds if we had finishes of top 4, last, top 8 and hopefully at least top 8 if not higher?
I think we can, just very unlikelyI agree with him. I don’t think we can do it, even if we do win the minor premiership.

All this betting talk is very exciting!!!No I think we're about a 10% chance. If I was a gambler I'd want 10:1 odds right now. Actually I'd want those odds after it was confirmed we'd finished in the top four. I'm no gambler but I'm sure nobody would be offering them. How about you? If we finish top four I'll give you a hundred bucks and if we win the comp you can give me $1000. You don't think we can do it, right? You'd love those odds.
