Why would our club announcing anything? I reckon signing drown / Mahoney to 3 year deals and getting Johns as a specialist halves coach indicates that is our plans and we are going to put resources into their development....

There is little point Moses remaining beyond this season if our plan is longer term, we need to get someone with more experience to play along side them.

like who? Foran ? Marshall? If it was that simple I am sure we would have done it last year when Moses was off contract.

WTF? Moses has played nearly 150 games, and has the kicking game we need. He should stay until his contract is up (could be next year due to player option for 2022). And if he stays longer that's good too.

At half the price of Moses, I'd have to say yes if we're prepared to wait for 4 years, because we won't afford Moses and Drown in the same team anyway then, so none of Moses, or Foran or Marshall are still going to be here in any case in 4 years and we will have to go with someone else.

At this stage we will pretty much have the same Top 13 next year with the same coaching staff. If that is the case I don't see that going well for us. We're going to need to change something.

Why not? A fully fit Moses is a quality playmaker. He was Dally M half last year and his kicking game is still so good we have a 73% win rate with him in the team this year.

Name a player we should replace Moses with? You keeping on talking about letting Moses go for a better player to help them but you can’t name a singe, player we should sign?

The player doesn't have to be a better player than Moses, they just have to be a better option than Moses on helping develop Drown and Mahoney to be the players they need to be in 4 years time. A better option has to take into account more than individual ability of the players because we don't need most of Moses individual abilities if you're prepared to wait 4 years. We will have to let him go at the end of his contract anyway.

The something will be an extra pre-season together, an extra 30-odd games of finals experience in the squad (an increase of about 25%) and Moses running freely again. Maybe whatever's wrong with Sivo will no longer be a problem either.

Our issue is our attack, and Moses has much better form he can get back to, plus Mahoney and Drown are a long way from their full potential. A single off-season can make a huge difference.

They don't need some player to come in and teach them. They will get better from playing more finals footy and going through another pre-season.

Moses isn't playing well. I can only assume he is still managing the calf injury.

I think we have a top four side, but we need better attacking structures to suit our strengths.

Not sure what happened to Moses this year, last year a try assist a game, barely any this year. Now thats a worry, and we have a few, as far as attacking goes. An easy observation, where is the support for our 2 edge forwards? Its disappeared as the year has moved on, now thats an easy fix. Over to you Brad.
