Injuries aside, I actually think that Pearce would be a much better fit with D Brown than the Moses we saw in the 2nd half of the season. But I know it's very trendy to knock Pearce.

Pearce may be a bigger downhill skier than Moses, with none of the moments of individual brilliance that Moses is (albeit infrequently) capable of. Plus he's on the wrong side of 30... Would be a move on the wrong direction IMO...

It’s trendy to knock Pearce because he’s shit, did you watch him the last half of Newcastle’s season??? He made Moses form look fantastic by comparison.


I seriously doubt anyone at the club is contemplating this.

I basically hated Pearce when he was a Rooster but as soon as he left I chilled on him.
He had a very good year last year for the Knights but this year was average. He has a good kicking game, he is a good defender and he has some game management ability (this trait would be an upgrade on Moses).
He would be better than end of season Moses but I am definitely still holding out for the real Moses of last year and early this year to re-emerge.
