Moses for me every day of the week. Pearce couldnt do it for NSW or The Chooks. Punted from both. Moses just needs the right support/structure/coaching. I think he lost confidence and thats not totally on him. Drown was still carrying injury when he returned and the teams focus was mostly elsewhere. New and experienced voices around him and the team will work wonders providing said voices are permitted to ply their trade.

Channeling Ram Im a bit of a Tyrone May fan. Would love him as a Jenko replacement. Great competitor. Wouldnt be super expensive either.

I mentioned here on these forums when Api was 17 years old that he was going to be a good one and that we should grab him off Souths at the time.

The kid has been all class since his junior days. We have no eye for talent. I can't remember who our 9 was at the time, but I think it might have still been Keating.

They should be begging me to stock our lower grades. We would be a super power that never loses when it matters. The Dragons 11 straight would look amateurish in comparison.

I recall you mentioned this.

The club knows what areas need to be worked on to take us to the next level and there has been some changes already made within the playing ranks to address this. It does take a change of mindset from some players and I think there are some who have been pushing back a little on personally taking these changes on board. Saturday night's result will probably see these players now on the same bus.
And it impacts the one area we all know needs improvement - the 1%'ers.

You're not always right Rammy.

Yes...he hasn't come along as well as he should have. But at that point I had only seen him play a handful of games. He will probably make a better lock forward then half. He doesn't have a running game, that is the main reason why he hasn't gone on.

I did say though I was looking at seeing how he would turn out. Meaning I wasn't 100% sure on him. I was hoping at that stage, but now that he has had more games, he needs a lot of work to get him up to quality level. If I were the Dogs, I would turn him into a forward and get him to run, run run.

Strange the disrespect shown to Moses, lands 4 sideline conversions to keep us in the game, but all anyone wants to comment on is a kick that hit the post that should have been recovered .

After that calf tear, he definitely was hampered in running but defended a lot better than last season. Finishing third and losing to Storm and Souths still was a good season that most clubs would drool for. We are getting better and that shouldn’t be dismissed, pressure now on changes to roster and hopefully support staff to improve us further.

The one that pissed me off was the Cook “forgetting” Paulo was tackled lead-up. Paulo was standing in that tackle for approx 15 minutes begging for anyone to run off him. We scored off a near identical play for our first try. Gutho, Moses, Matterson could’ve changed the game by being awake like Knight was for his try. Speaking of which, Drown ignoring that his teammates had Cook covered, allowing Knight to go over untouched. That was the quintessential brave but dumb effort

Yep, and those dumb efforts happen less with more experience.

It’s not just us, the guy that trains him (Andrew Johns) as well as Cooper Cronk, Michael Ennis and Peter Sterling have also been critical.

The game was not lost due to anything Moses did, leaving 3 middles off for too long which enabled Souffs to gain ascendency and how poorly the bench played. Evans, Davey and Stone were basically exposed and has made recruitment vital. Taka didn’t do a lot, but his defence and lateral movement was not up to standard, not his fault as been looked at as a forward replacement this season.

Have to respect Moses for landing a touch line conversion after that miss. Sure Gus, Joey and Sterling are entitled to their opinion, but basically how many 7s go close to their level. Don’t see any halves outside the 4 that are left that are anywhere as good as Moses.
