I reckon Naden would be a handy signing. Wouldn't cost and arm and leg and can play wing and centre.

But with Sivo signing we have a wing spot sorted. Blake I feel should be converted into a winger. It would leave two centre spots. A lot would depend on how goood Pensini is and what type of year Opacic has.

The other possible option is Ferguson. If he has a strong season a 1yr option might work well.
I feel like Dunster may only ever be a back up option. He is 22 now. I do hope he is named this week and given a chance. If he shines he may solve all our issues.

Blake has 3 more years after this one. And will be on close to 500k.
Our best option is to find what position suits him best. It could be wing. He is part of our top 17 and is NRL quality. Just need to work on his deficiencies

I agree Hindy, but if we can strengthen our centre position with a relatively cheap and decent player, then it gives us room if injuries occur or our juniors need more time or don't pan out again.

I can't see him being more then $200-300K range. Not bad for a position we are so fragile in at the moment. I mean look at who we have playing there right now? As well as he went against the Storm, on a dry track against fast and agile backs he will be found out. We were very lucky that we played the Storm on a day of torrential rain and without Harry.

Eels pull contract offer to State of Origin star Nathan Brown

He was rewarded with selection for the Blues in last year’s Origin series and has continued his good form into the new season, averaging 34 tackles and 123 running metres per game.

After previously being represented by Isaac Moses, Brown recently changed management companies. His new agent, Jonathan Wehbe, wouldn’t be drawn on the latest developments.

“We’ve got no comment,” Wehbe said. Parramatta officials also declined to comment.

The Eels are hopeful they will be able to retain all of their off-contract stars long term. Moses has been offered another year if he waves the option to leave, Matterson’s preference is to stay despite other clubs being made aware that he is available, and promising outside back Haze Dunster is close to agreeing to a new one-year deal.
