I have no problem with Timmy, but his stats reflected a lot of 'pre-contact' metres, particularly from kick offs. He was a good defender, and was ok at eating metres in between the 20 metre lines but he rarely bent the line (at least in last few seasons). He was also quite good at hitting the ground face down. But he wasn't in the top 50% of starting props in the NRL in my opinion anyway.

I don't think he was, either - but that doesn't really denigrate what he was, which was a very reliable above average First Grade NRL prop.

Until he develops an offload will he be better than Jnr but great metre eater. Also Gutho who at times hogs the ball when should throw a pass to someone in better position.

Nah, can't agree with this. Part of Waqa's resurgence in form is because Gutho hunts him down and gives him early ball. The "hog" Gutho is pretty high up in TAs and LBAs.

RCG is a better defender than Paulo.

The only thing he doesn't have is an offload/pass.

I think both bookends complement each other well.
