Would Jayden Olonbur be a good project player?

Dogs have

Allen,Naden,Cotric,JAC,Shcoup,M.Dufty.....
Amoti who has huge wraps and plays centre.
That's 7 already. Could add Aravilo if Flannagan is in the halves....
Okunbor would be the type of winger BA likes. Big, strong and hit up merchant. Would be a good pick up and add depth for the wing spots.
He's played well and shown promise in the limited first grade games he's played. Wouldn't
cost much either. I dare say his salary and Dunster's combined would be less than Fergo's

Has shown some talent working with the juniors as well.

If your going to play Waqa blake he needs to be on the wing he cant pass to his outside anyway. Its why he always cuts back in

I think he cuts back in because he’s on the wrong side of the field. He seems to favour stepping off his left foot which would bring him infield. When he was on the right side he would step off his left and try to get around his defender.

Coming back infield is the low risk option for setting up the next play. Heading toward the sideline is the high risk, high reward option. Especially when you add passing the ball.

Not much about Waqa screams ‘no risk’ to me. I just reckon he can’t step off his right foot.

There maybe no correlation to it but if i am a warriors fan i would be very suspicious about how DWZ got shipped off there pretty quickly from the dogs on big money while Gus was still at his role at the warriors.

Then 4 weeks later Gus pops up as general manager of the Dogs. With one of the key roles is putting the salary cap back in shape.

If i am warriors fan i would be asking the club for total transparency on who organised that deal

Did anyone watch Xavier Savage play last night? He was terrific and showed his skill and speed in only his second game in the NRL. He turned that game on its head. He is a player. What I also like about him is he is always looking to support and be on the ball on both sides of the field. Like I said before, he is an amazing talent and it is a pity that the Raiders extended him and now he is off limits. By the time he is available again it will be way to late and cost a bomb to try and sign him.

Oh well, we now have to look elsewhere for some genuine skill and speed. But boy would we be in with a real shot to win the title if we had a player like him in our backline. Blink and he is gone. We need speed. Real speed. It would change everything for this team. Not saying that we can't win a title with this team, but it is unlikely, but doable if we played at our best for 3-4 games in the semis and the teams we played were the weaker ones or slightly off their best. But add Savage or Hammer type of speed at the end of this backline and we are cooking with rocket fuel. Zero chance moment turns into real chance moments. Players like these in very good teams like ours are title makers.

Completely agree and if he was on X$ and the dogs offered him 2 and 3 times that it is very convenient to say Covid is stopping me what i need to do. I'm sure his intention was never to be there 100% of the time however he would have staff and programs in place to execute his strategy. Oops Covid now, i can't do that anymore...if Dogs don't come knocking he is still employed by the warriors.

He was phenomenal...blistering speed. Must shut him down next week...actually belt him
