I’m still not sure you get it. It’s not the losses alone that are the issues. Of course we were going to lose games. For me, BA still seems lacking in knowing what he wants from the bench, bizarre team selections and at an overall loss of how to play against the top sides. There’s still huge question marks even 8 years in.

I’m not sure you get it mate, it’s the lazy, dumb untalented players at fault not the brilliant coach and his much sort after coaching staff.

Who's job is it to get the best out of players?

Out of our top 17 this year I reckon we have only had 2 players show genuine improvement; Mahoney and Papali'i

A few have stayed at about the same level: RCG, Kaufusi, Opacic, Lane & Waqa Blake (Both Lane and Blake from shit to still shit).

The rest have regressed this year: Gutho, Sivo, Fergo, D Brown, Moses, N Brown, Matto, Paulo, Niukore (except when he played centre)

Only 2 players have improved. What a joke! Only Fergo would be declining due to age. The rest of them? Is it just a coincidence that they have all declined this year? Or is the coach and his staff growing stale? These players would all be on decent coin too.

*Smith, Cartwright and Stone have had so little game time in 2021 I have left them out.

Since our 28-0 drubbing by a under strengths roosters side they've been beat up by Penrith who had about 7 guys out and beaten the side running 2nd last(Missing a heap) by 1 point.
It certainly shows where we are at currently.

After our game against Penrith I certainly did. I felt like we where and as Pou mentioned 20 x this year a genuine 10-1 chance. Maybe even 8-1.
Now we are 45-1

Or that statistics only show a certain picture that doesn't always quite reflect what is actually happening and in this case it doesn't show that we are very limited in attacking style and can't beat the better teams at the pointy and of the season. Also that you can't just front load and bash your way to the top all season and then have the health and fitness in the squad to challenge towards the end of the season, so the wheels drop off.

History has proven this over and over, but our coaches don't seam to get it. Time for changes.

Which is why we need to (1) improve our squad with a strike player or two and (2) improve our coaching and tactics. Whether that means a change of coach, change of assistants or change of mindset I don't know, but not sure anyone is saying just keep doing what we are doing.

Front load effort and chase the collision though does come to mind. Just saying
