Welch, Daifiti along with Haas are top 3 after that there’s a dozen include Fisher Harris who are around the same. I’d argue he isn’t even the best at Smugs. This year I’d say it’s Yeo

He's no better than Nrown when he was good. Addin Fonua-Blake is probably third best (after Haas and daylight). If you include edge forwards, Fifita and Papali'i are both better than JFH as well. As you say, he is in that next tier after the elite forwards I just mentioned. I reckon Saifiti is in that group (non-elite) too.

Vicous fish is in all seriousness the best of the rest by the fact he is in a great side , young and super fit. Jnr,Rcg are as good. But older.

That’s why I said this year for Yeo.

I forgot about AFB but that could also point to him not being elite anymore as well. He’s probably in that group of forwards pushed back into the pack because of the rule changes.
Fifita and Papali’i aren’t near the top for mine. Potential wise yes but Papali’i needs to show his career best season isn’t a one-off, while Fifita needs to show his career worst season is a one-off. I think he’s also been affected by rule changes and should probably move to the middle.
Daifiti is better than Papali’i so is at least 5th if including AFB & Fifita but on this year alone is better than those 2 as well.

With Gutho, Moses feeding him the ball and Penisini inside him he'd be scoring plenty of tries. Plus he adds plenty of speed to the right edge and his metres from the back end are decent.
