Lack of passing game left to right; lack of ability to break tackles; not fast enough. Might be very good defensively. A good, solid, safe fullback; but I don't think he has the vision or creativity required.
Players can only get as much as the clubs will pay. The reason merkins will all get a pay rise is because a new club is coming in, increasing the overall NRL-wide demand for top 30 players by 6.25% without any increase in players good enough for the top 30.
Only thing with that is what other club will touch him if he can't play interstate or NZ games. Bulldogs conceivably could be paying him to only play half the year, or sit out the season. Definition of between a rock and a hard place.

His position is 6 and remembers he's only 21. It's the coaching staffs brilliant idea to move him to the right that stunted his attacking influence on the team. You don't solve an issue with an attack by moving him out of position again. From the last couple of games that he played on the left, I'm expecting a huge year from him.
