I would he is a Kellyville junior he parents basically live 5-10 mins away from our training ground. I saw him the other night at Castle Hill with his mates so he doesn't mind coming back to the area and hanging out around here.

His dad Neil is a Parramatta supporter as well.

Should have got him back in 2019 when Melbourne offered him up to every club on the cheap and no one wanted him.
At a weaker club he could be another Bevan French.

A bit like Ice in that regard.

As the Retention Committee continue to throw darts at the board to come up with offers, the song playing on loop in the background is “Pressure” by Queen.

Although Pou will argue , as he does to every comment, allowing the contracts to expire at the same time and then seemingly doing little to extend them in the season , falls back on the hierarchy. Can’t blame the coach for this one, hello HOF.
What's the problem with having a lot of players off contract at the same time? It should be the absolute last consideration when trying to sign a player at a good price, whether the contract ends at the same time as other players in the team. The upside of having a lot of players off contract at once is there is a lot of cap space available for reshaping the team. I hope we're talking to Ponga and Wighton. Both better players than anyone in our team.

Well I think it's accepted that if Mahoney had played against the eventual premiers in the finals we would've made up that one point difference we ended up losing by.

But Mahoney's not a genuine superstar and neither are any of our best players. However they are very good first graders, and we have a lot of them. If we had a genuine superstar ($1M+ quality) we would be able to afford fewer players in that $500k-$700k category.

Ponga is a generational talent but I think Wighton is very overrated. If I was signing a half I’d take Moses over Wighton any day.

FMD. If true, their cap needs forensic analysis pronto. Especially if they snare Rheed....

Even then though, if clubs want to rort the cap bad enough, they will and it's unlikely they'll be caught, but questions need to be asked if the Dogs get Kikau and Rheed given all of the other signings to date
That’s because they’ve missed out on Mahoney.
So apparently we're desperate but also haven't even made an offer to Matterson. Makes a lot of sense. If we were desperate we would've matched the Tigers offer for Papali'i.
Would you take Wighton before Gutherson?

You are such a hypocrite.
