Depends on when Gus sacks Barrett.

I haven't seen any evidence Trenr Barrett will be a premiership winning coach. He is ricky stuart 2.0 imo.

His stint at manly was a disaster his man management skills have a lot to be desired. Barrett can't get the best out of the bottom tier players he coaches. He has 3 bottom 4 finishes in his 4 years as head coach

I reckon BA is a 10x better coach then barrett.

There are plenty of 20-21 year old kids that could be lost to the system due to Covid and having no 2nd tier football for 2 seasons. So the club should explore that age group across the game and see what they can find could be some players out there that just need another opportunity
