@Gary Gutful olives are starting to fruit. They’re still small. They don’t get picked here till May-ish. We are past Bathurst so things take a little long to get ripe.

We prepare Olives around April start eating about 12 months later.

how do you pick em? by hand? like each olive? ...... I once saw a show where they have a thing mounted on the tractor that basically grabs the tree trunk and shakes the bejezus out of it and they fall off into a thing that catches em .... do you have an olive tree shaker?

The proper way is for the tractor with an attachment to shake them. But they are still relatively young and may damage the trees/roots. We place sheets under the trees and ‘Combe’ the fruit off. The bundle the fruit into boxes
