Yeah we had them too. A whole different kind of nightmare. Didn't matter that you wore gloves when picking or peeling them either. Those nasty little pricks would somehow always find a way to nail ya. But boy did they taste great on a nice hot summers day. So freakin sweet and juicy and sometimes you'd find a slightly different but amazingly delightful flavour from the rest. I'd always end up with a massive smiley face totally covered in their runny sticky juicy fruity nectar and giggling like a little naughty boy who ate to much, full to the brim, but no regrets.

Ah those were the days. We were all so naïve and innocent, right? No internet to ruin all the surprises and we were so in the moment. Didn't need to take a selfie to make it real. In fact a selfie could have meant evidence and time. Which I suppose if served could have been its own positive experience too right? A silver lining.

I'm not that daring. At least not with milk. Yoghurt I'm not so fussed about.

With milk, like Hindy says, don't leave it out of the fridge more then a 30 secs to a min and it should last longer then the expiry date. It all depend on the handling and storage process before you bought it whether it can last longer then the used by date. But with milk or cream it is very easy to know if it is off or not., just smell or taste it. If it doesn't smell or taste bad it is ok and good.

With anything pickled, just keep it submerged, sealed and in the fridge after opening and it is generally good for more the a year or so.

Caught a replay of some of Barnsey from last night... horrendous. Can't believe anyone would intentionally go and watch/, listen to that bloke 'sing'.

His missus looks good though for someone I imagine is ~60yo. Although there's something very unbecoming about a lady playing the bagpipes....
