So Perham's defence and ability under the high ball is NRL standard right now ?Maybe someone who can play a couple of positions and not just halfback which forces multiple adjustments in the backline.... Perham for example...

Lee Mossop backwards is Possom Eel, we should’ve know that he’d be a soft merkin! Why do we bother signing pommies anyway our track record with Chris Thorman and Lee Mossop should mean any Englishman is a no go zone when it comes to parra.
Lol Plogdson could turn out to be our worst signing ever, fancy losing Mahoney for him. Only at Parra.
Hodgson will be worse than Watmough mark 2. I’d be on the phone now and letting him know that we will be trying to pull our offer assuming we legally can.
I’d either be contacting Joey Lussick ASAP or convince Mahoney to reconsider and tell Gus to get f**ked.
Yeah his quote after 1 nrl game the super league was tougher then the NRL worked out well.Lee Mossop backwards is Possom Eel, we should’ve know that he’d be a soft merkin!
Unfortunately Parramatta have a number of curses that it cant seem to break away from which includes english signings turning into shit.Poms recruitment looked an inspired move by Canberra but look how that turned out. Only Whitehead has been a consistent performer. Now Mullholand is no longer with them they will have to rely on Rickys talent spotting genius.
I agree it's all speculation. I'm glad you've called it out. There are plenty of other potential reasons.Nobody can prove it but there is plenty of circumstantial evidence pointing to the fact that there are better options available.
I don't think personnel from reserve grade will improve our defence. What will improve it is improved commitment to strong first contact and better effort to get numbers into the tackle. Dare I say, more chasing the collision. And if @Poupou Escobar suggests anything otherwise he is merely trolling his own thread again. He should be nowhere near that bench spot with the amount of deficiencies we have in our defence. There are far better options and he knows it too.
I can't believe no other club wanted him.it’s a tragedy we lost lussick.
Would you pick him?I don't think personnel from reserve grade will improve our defence. What will improve it is improved commitment to strong first contact and better effort to get numbers into the tackle. Dare I say, more chasing the collision.
I'm no fan of Jake and reckon that he will end up the way of Luke Kelly, however I don't buy that we have "better options" available right now. The argument seems to be "why shift everyone around to fit Jake in, when we get an injury in the backs" ?Nobody can prove it but there is plenty of circumstantial evidence pointing to the fact that there are better options available.
The only bloke in reserve grade I would pick ahead of him is Cartwright, and I would have him starting over Papali'i.Would you pick him?

If we get an injury the backs, our only option is to use Cartwright at 6 instead of Jake. This involves the same shifting about as Jake and we lose a second kicker, which puts pressure on Moses. Other than that we have to use a rookie who is not ready.
If Marata was fit, I suspect we wouldn't be having this conversation unless we ran out of backrowers.
In a wheelchair.he may arrive fresh…
*Flimsy as a daisyHe'll be fresh as a daisy that merkin and will play until he 51.
Huh? We only lose a second kicker if 2 of both D Brown, Mahoney and Moses get injured.I'm no fan of Jake and reckon that he will end up the way of Luke Kelly, however I don't buy that we have "better options" available right now. Oh but it is sadly, with our club anyway.Huh? We only lose a second kicker if 2 of both D Brown, Mahoney and Moses get injured.
And If an outside back gets injured you play Cartwright at center in attack and Dylan Brown plays there in defence remaining at 6 in attack(keeping our spine in tact in attack). It’s not f**king hard.
Well Byce Cartwright must be the answer then. Let the arm grabbing begin.Huh? We only lose a second kicker if 2 of both D Brown, Mahoney and Moses get injured.
