Yeah, last time we wouId have looking at him as depth/bench middle player, so obviously the eels wouIdnt want to be paying to much/had a smaller budget.

But if we look at him as a starting edge player, we definitely wouId have a larger budget to spend.

Additionally he still under contract for 2023 so dogs might be willing to put in some cash (think his contract has a cause which lets him leave if he wants), considering their cap issues

Surely he'd jump at a chance to play in a better team plus Dogs need to let plenty go to fit Kikau and Mahoney under cap. They might even throw in some cash.

Not with us he won’t. No chance he will fulfill his latest contract. He will be released to cater for someone like Russell to take over or to sign a big name like Papenhuyzen.

Nothing to do with height. It's his build at the moment. He needs to bulk up a bit to play centre on a regular basis.

He's 8 centimetres taller than Penisini and 8kgs lighter.

This is what I call an assumption and not a fact like you've stated it.

Didn't Guth sign a 4yr deal which means he has another 4.5yrs? Or was it a 3yr deal so 3.5yrs?

I feel like 3yr would work well. That's assuming Russel is even going to be a quality no 1. That's no guarantee. But he would do fine for the next year or two on the wing before potential to move him to no 1. Guth could be on his last year and released early in this scenario.
