And not just based on JA form but the fact Mahoney struggles with 80mins in defense. Rein is specialist hooker with plenty of experience.
Blake failure to pass to his wing man and Bailey offering nothing in attack is a simple decision.

Also I don't think we need huge changes. Opacic in for Bailey and Blake to the wing. Then we have two big powerfull wingers and a centre who is great in defense and can pass.

N.Brown needs to be recalled also and Rein for JA is a no brainer.

That's not a bad bench at all. Mahoney only needs 60mins. And we then have 3 x middles who we can rotate.

Do you witness a concentration on skills and upskilling or is it more targeting those better suited to charging through the middle?

Assuming you mean, do I see it with our juniors/recruitment? if so no idea….

but looking at those juniors there is a pretty wide mixture or skills /size / playing style there

I read something once about the home team underdog with gambling once.

Indicated it was one of the best outcomes. I think though there was an upper limit of when that outcome was likely to occur though.... So, not many $5 home teams get up, but the $2-$3 range was the sweet spot.

For me, his help post-Stuart/rorting got him a get out of jail free card that he used in 2018. Reviewing 2019 to now though, we’re in a downwards trajectory, but the bigger undermining is a lot of the current deficiencies are with players he had pre-2019, so the goodwill I give him from that early period is being eroded.

Not just the home team. With no rigorous analysis whatsoever I feel like $3-$4 is usually good value. Or maybe only when it's Parra's opposition paying that much.
