Jake was 18th man again yesterday. Ive little doubt he will be 7 if Mitch is out. It should certainly focus the rest of the team with Mitch out and lets face it, our focus can be bloody awful. Good luck Jake. Fingers crossed.

Pou your a pain in the arse at times but your not dumb either.

Wouldn't you reckon that Gutho to 6, Drown to 7 and either Simmonson, Perham or Russell to FB is the best option right now.

Then throwing Jake back into the furnace. Something the kid doesn't need right now with our season on the line.

Gutho played in the halves before yes it was 5 years ago but its not foreign to him and he basically plays as a 3rd half anyway. Defensively he should be able to hold his own.

Then you have Perham, Russell or even Simmonson has played FB before for canberra that can FB. So we have 3 options to cover the FB role to shift Gutho.

Mahoney does a bit of kicking.

Drown and Gutho can kick not at Moses level but still competent enough for first grade. And we aren't having to carry a backup half in first grade who clearly isn't ready.

Time to throw something different you never know we may find out there is better options out the back then Gutho. And giving the squad better flexibility moving forward.

It's also time Dylan brown when called upon without moses took more control he wants an pay upgrade next year let's see what he has got with the 7 on his back.

We will only need Arthur to hold his own in defence and do some of the kicking. We won't be expecting him to take the line on after a quick play-the-ball. Those touches will go to more dangerous players. I dare say Drown will be expected to run more. Gutherson will also be more involved.
