Yeah I generally can't stand dubs. I'll watch with subs though if it is worth the effort. I'll probably watch 'The Innocent'.

'The Bureau' is a brilliant French series that I watched a couple of weeks back if anyone is interested. Slow but real good slow.

Yeh, I don't mind watching French stuff, as I can understand a lot (not all) of what they are saying. I think I've got The Bureau on my watchlist somewhere (probably SBS i guess).

Some dubbing on Netflix is quite good. I think it might depend on the language, some Spanish shows (The Innocent, Money Heist) I found it hard to realise they were actually dubbed.

Haven't watched Money Heist yet. I have the dubbed and non dubbed versions and will watch the non dubbed version one I think. I watched five minutes or so of both to get a feel for it to see for myself because I read that it was a decent dubbed Netflix attempt, but after listening to both the original just had so much more depth, nuance and feel to it overall that I think I will play it with the original Spanish audio. But yes it did sound like a decent dubbing overall.

Money Heist is one of my favourites shows of all time.

I went with the dub for the first 2 seasons. When I then decided to try the non-dubbed with subtitles for season 3 I couldn’t as the voices were completely different.

The dubbing is very good. Unless really focusing on the lips, it’s pretty unnoticeable tbh
