no, to clarify I meant those people who wanted our board to employ the playing roster of our 1986 grand final winning team. and if any of our past players (eg Mark Riddell) did anything inflammatory or said anything foolish (a certain Triple M interview comes to mind) they were defended to the tilt. it was ridiculous.

our board is now finally clear of ex players and we have a path to the future. it's incredibly refreshing.

hence - putting players, and ex players ahead of the club.

The only ex player that had half a clue was Steve Edge. Perhaps Sterlo would go ok but even he would be the first to admit that he has no business experience. He said something similar when he was touted as the Parra CEO.
