They played finals last year. I always felt Pearce was not appreciated by the fans and many other judges. I wasn't suprised to see the flop. Along with Frizzel had played his best footy.

In that time Newcastle have made the finals 9 times. We've made them 10 times.

Since the start of 2016 we've won 92 games, they've won 53 games. .

Since 2003 they have played finals 6 times and only made the preliminary final once which was 2013.

2 out of there 3 finals win in that time come in 2013.

5 out of the 6 finals appearances they have finished 7th or 8th in the regular season. So effectively been knocked out in week 1 except 2013.

Only time they finished higher then 7th in regular season was in 2006 when they finished 4th and they went out week 2 with a 50-6 defeat.

In that time they have also won 4 wooden spoons.

Yeah he was coach in 2013 there only prelim final since 2001.
