Our forward issue is how hard they hit in defense not their power game.
Our issue when have the ball is our 1-5 have no grunt bar Sivo. Compare it to Penrith who have 5 guys who run the ball hard. Every set your banking on a minimum of 2 carries from your back 5. And a lot of times 3. People seem to forget that in a standard set of six your back 5 is taking on average half the hit ups. They are just as important to momentum amd go forward.
Ours just aren't up to that level. Means our forward need to try and do more which means they are more gassed in defense which leaves more holes and slower line speed.

Keep Sivo,Keep Penisini and Gutherson. Find a new centre and a powerfull winger and we will be better for it.

No. I think at best we get to another grand final in the next 10yrs. Hopefully when do the opposition are weak.
All we've had under BA is very good side. And it's been very good for a sustained period.

But it's never been a great side. 2001,2005 and even thou people want to say how shit we started the season 2009 we had great sides.
Also some great sides in the late 90s under BS.

I also don't buy into the bullshit Oh it was just HAYNE played good for 10 games. We gelled. We started offloading. We evolved as aside and pulled together. BA but hugger wants to down play it as we just got lucky with HAYNE.

You don't win competitions in MAY. It's about developing a style and playing your best footy come finals.

We haven't been much more then a 7/10 side since 2009 in my eyes. Maybe in 2017 I'd say 7.5

Game was a flip of coin. We won on the day but hardly dominated them. I'd say they dominated us for most that game but luck was certainly with us.

Well that forward pass was in the early stages of the game. Then the cows had an 8 point lead and muffed it.

Also if you want to play "hard done by", Annesley said that Feldt held back Moses as marker and it should have been a penalty.

don’t agree. They had a great year, but let’s not forget our achievements also. I believe we had (ranked) the toughest draw in the nrl. Some fans were saying we’ll Miss the 8 only 5-6 weeks out from the semis. We had our faults but we played a tough brand of footy.

When we had small mobile forward we needed bigger forwards. Now we have them we need to revert back.

The NRL made the game much faster in early 2020, after the Covid break. Since then Penrith have only lost 10 games in three years. In the three years before that they lost 35 games.

No it's because over 24 games we showed our quality compared to the competition and we were only above average. The proof is in our points differential compared to the other teams.

They have a more talented side, which is why they had a better for-and-against. Unfortunately for them they have a lot of young and inexperienced players who underperformed in the preliminary, while our more experienced players stood up under pressure.

I think we were lucky in Townsville. It's only one game and we won it by four points. It should've been the Cowboys getting belted in the grand final.
