The 2017 Eels season preview from RLW and the 2016 Eels season review from Big League are kind of bland but there are some interesting Parra-related bits and bobs in Big League.

Big League Team of the Year - 2016 (Big League, Pages 36-39, 25/11/16)

11. Manu Ma'u (Parramatta)

In a tumultuous year for the Eels, Ma'u was a shining beacon of hope for the future. The barnstorming second-rower showed off his versatility. sliding into the centres frequently during the latter stages of the year. He finished with averages of 126 metres and 26 tackles per game - developing a reputation as one of the biggest hitters in the competition - and he played nearly every minutes of his 22 games despite his workload, also notching up an impressive 36 offloads. While the club's big names created the drama, Ma'u kept his head down and did everything his team and coach needed from him.

Big League Eels Player of the Year - Mau Ma'u (Big League, Page 77, 25/11/16)

Manu Ma'u finished with more points than any Eels player in Big League's Player of the Year award. The physical second-rower ran more metres than any other forward at the club, averaging 126 per game. He also recorded 581 tackles and 47 tackle-breaks. When the Eels were missing numbers in the backline due to injuries and suspensions, Ma'u was more than happy to shift from the back row to the centres for a couple of weeks and he didn't look out of place.

Big League Prozone Miscellaneous Parramatta Facts [Forty20 Working Title] (Big League, Page 76, 25/11/16)

  • Despite issues with the halves pairings through the year, Parramatta topped the competition in tries from kicks in 2016 with 17.
  • The Eels also received the biggest boost from their massive bench of any team in 2016. They had the highest average metres from the interchanges with 271.5 every game.
  • Despite [they love this word for Parra] enduring a very disrupted season due to off-field issues, Corey Norman still amde 15 try assists in his 16 games for the club.

If they're the best bits it must have been a pretty boring read, although the tries from kicks and metres off the bench is interesting. I hope you got those issues off RLW47 and didn't buy them yourself.

I would have thought this operation would be done when he was fully grown unless they think shorter leg will grow at same rate as other one.

So there is an operation that will grow my substantially shorter leg, good to know!
DOn't think they were talking about penile enlargement

That's what i was referring to earlier. He is still growing so it's a more extensive surgery than to a leg that has fully grown.

All his ex Parra team mates are sharing it.

The guy who posted it is followed by Hindy and Cayless so it may actually be true.
