Why Moses will want to sign a deal is cause he just made the Grand Final. Taking his 2025 option would probably mean his next deal is shorter and if he has a poor season offers will be down.
Even waiting till rnd 10 if his forms down ay cost him 100k. His best bet is to cash in right now amd extend.
Moses was offered to us to extend mid 2022 at a lower price than now. We declined to wait and see.

Hodgo might make him even better this year and his value goes higher.

However, i reckon what avvy said is true and that he has already signed anyway

That was an assertion made by Buzz, the same bloke who 'revealed' how Crichton was desperate to stay at the Panthers. His mail is literally never right.

I never said that. I said that I think he would and that it's pending.

Do you think we expected his value to go down? Stories like that are obvious bullshit because they don't make sense. He might've been offered to us for less than he can now get from a desperate club, but that doesn't mean we want to pay it, especially if we didn't want to pay whatever he was demanding six months ago.

We were prepared to let him walk then and we're prepared to let him walk now. It is absolutely possible for us to pay Mitch Moses too much.
