Sam Walker isn't a great example. He's in a team full of origin and international players, not exactly a trial by fire as you're portraying.

Here's another example. Tepai Moeroa. He was old enough because he was good enough. Put into first grade after 1.5 games of reserve grade. Bevan French? On the other end of the spectrum we have Marata Niukore and Will Penisini. There were calls to have them put into first grade earlier than they debuted.
They gotta start somewhere....

I for one don't see him moving to the forwards and am stumped people suggest it. Forwards need to be big and strong powerful men.Tough and aggressive. Just cause Matterson did? Matto was a large unit and powerfull.
JA is tall and will fill out more but he is lanky and just isn't a forward in any way at all. It would be like suggesting Turbo should move to 2nd row. Similar body shape.
Paul Gallen was quite lean in his early career. 😳

I saw the highlights of his GF win in the schoolboys final a while back, good pace for a long-range try, and compared to kids his age

against NRL players, not so much as they are mature and much stronger
While not claiming he is a speedster….he doesn’t look to slow here in support

or here pushing across (3.20 min mark)

Or to slow to make a split second decision with a defencing push up (4.15 and 5.35 )

Or to slow to take advantage of no fullback (4.44)

JA needs a lot of improvement to be a permanent NRL half (but is still very young) but his aren’t that slow (it’s his body shape that makes it seem so). And he has enough speed as a half to take advantage of opportunities.

imagine how exciting it’ll be if you watch the highlights of ja in fast forward!!!
Here comes king idiot doing his usual brain dead posts…..you are an idiot sir!!

anyhow how is your eye for talent? Imagine putting shit on @Gronk

That you have a shit eye for talent. And you’re a shit stirrer

When you post stuff like this:

yeah not convinced brown is a half. And we may struggle to find a decent centre so this (shifting brown) could be an option.

What’s even worse for Dylan, is the fact he’s playing in a very strong team where forwards are dominating on a weekly basis. Even luke brooks has better stats and he plays for a bunch of fairies. At this rate, brown won’t be our long term half, or a half in the nrl for that matter.

theres plenty of upside to this as I’m not sold on brown at 5/8. The only possible downside is how much is brown on. If he’s on spine money, then it’s too much for a centre. Would he also move there, and potentially cost himself $$$?

it’ll come down to what moses and Dbrown can come up with today. I know he’s still young, but brown really needs to step up today. I’m not overly convinced he’s going to have a superstar career at this point. If they can create opportunities like last season with their kicking game, we may strangle the life out of the rabbits.

Or we may loss by 40 or more. But that’ll be where it’s won for the eels.

Geez Josh, you’d think I was the only one commenting about a switch for Dylan, after his lacklustre 2021 performances. But keep coming with the insults….
