1.25 for Moses??? Really??? Glad he's staying but sounds like as usual the club bent over when it matters. In big games he's still a massive liability IMO, even in the Cows Semi he was bog average. I think 1m was more than fair i know we made a GF but it's not like he took us there on his back. How much quality can we surround him with when we are pay our halves over 2 million dollars???

Kid has just turned 22 and missed most of last year injured. With some help around him this year he will flourish. Just watch a Tigers game, even when we are aids, Stef stands out. He will play origin.

Until 2021 he was the longest serving coach without a premiership. 15 years and won nothing, with a win rate lower than 50%. Then he's given a great team so that the club can retain his son and he's suddenly a great coach? Just like magic!

The Ivan Cleary story is proof that you don't need a good coach to win premierships. You just need a great team and a good enough coach. This is how Hagan, Stuart, Maguire, Green and Flanagan won premierships.

Coaches don't do player retention. It is a full club effort. Robinson didn't build the team that won the comp in his first season. Neither did Hagan or Stuart.

Jesus Christ there is no one else at our club I'd trust it to. i think if you look at our history of signing/retaining/releasing players you will notice a marked change since early 2021 when Sheens returned as Football Manager.

The important thing is number of years. If he's contracted until age 33 we've probably got him a year (or two) too long. That's where it'll hurt, not in paying him an extra $100k-$150k per year.

We do have to pay overs, thats the price of being rubbish for so long. We paid massive money for Stef for a kid who had never played first grade but was worth it. Not sure what happened with Ice though, we got him for a steal. you guys were napping on that one.
